Laney Roberts is an Alabama native. Though born and raised in Dothan, she spent much of her adult life in Salem, Massachusetts - a place she also calls home. Dena Bruce Smith
Dena Bruce currently resides in Dothan, though she had lived all over the sweet state of Alabama - Troy, Elba, Enterprise, Roanoke and Montevallo. She has one of those boring degrees in accounting, but possesses a diversity of work experience - cashier for Ron's Crispy Fried Chicken, Rony's IGA sales clerk, computer data entry personnel, retail salesperson and , most currently, controller for a local corporation. Dena has forever dabbled in writing, but was discouraged from serious thoughts of publishing by her uber-smart mom who corrected her grammar a little too stringently. That is until she collided with Ms. Roberts. Dena would like to point out that, though Laney may have brought her back to the writing table, it is she that introduced her collaborator to the 21st Century of MySpace, texting and DizzyX. (Rock on, Liz!) Dena is a devoted wife and the mother of three... She feels that family, good friends, terrific food and fabulous wine are the necessities of life. Oh, and a 'to die for' house on the beach....Life is grand!
